Monroe Superstore and the Low Payment Kings’ would like to personally thank everyone who helped make the 6th Annual 18 Aces to Conquer Cancer a huge success. This year, the special event raised $22,174, which was all donated to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Pancreatic Cancer Research Center. The institute is one of only 41 Nation Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in America.

Held on June 13, the event, hosted by the Monroe Dodge superstore and held at the Monroe Golf & Country Club in Monroe, MI, featured a chance for golfing participants to win a new vehicle lease. Additional games and raffles took place for all attendees to enjoy.

We not only wanted to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research, but to also raise awareness about the disease as well. In the tragic wake of singer Aretha Franklin’s death from pancreatic cancer, Monroe Superstore believes it is critical to get tested annually. Signs and symptoms of the disease may not appear until the cancer is in its advanced stages and impossible to remove via surgery, thus making early detection vital.

Monroe Superstore wants their customers and the community to save the date for their next Annual 18 Aces to Conquer Cancer, taking place on March 19, 2019 at the Country Club of Winter Haven. Come out, watch or play some golf, and donate to a great cause!
