This past weekend, while the country celebrated Labor Day, Michigan combined the holiday with celebrating the Michigan State Fair. The RAM company recently signed on to sponsor the fair for the next three years, and honored the partnership by bringing the RAM Truck Experience to all five days of the State Fair. FCA US Director of the Great Lakes Business Center, Jeff Hines, described the brand’s commitment to the Michigan State Fair, calling the fair a “long-standing tradition that celebrates the importance of farmers and farming communities in our state.” He went on to explain that the crowd-pleasing RAM Truck Experience was not only a chance for fairgoers to have fun, but also an opportunity for attendees to experience the capabilities of RAM trucks before they made purchasing decisions.

The RAM Truck Experience highlighted the RAM 1500, RAM 2500, and RAM 3500. Visitors had a chance to ride in one of these trucks with a performance driver on an off-road test track. The drivers demonstrated the trucks’ capabilities on an obstacle course that included a steep wedge to show off the traction, a ride over rocks, logs, and speed bumps to highlight the stability and suspension, a RAM mountain that showed off the ground clearance, and more. There’s no better way to be assured of the quality of a vehicle than actually seeing and feeling it on a track, and the RAM Truck Experience allowed diehard fans and curious new truck buyers alike to experience just that.

Here at your Monroe, MI RAM, Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep® dealership, we can’t offer an off-road obstacle course. But if you missed the fair, we can offer a chance to drive any or all of the RAM models highlighted at the event so you can have your own RAM experience. Stop by today to see what fairgoers learned to love about trucks like the 2017 RAM 1500.
