If you are the parent of a teenager, you know how scary it can be to see your child behind the wheel. It’s not that you don’t trust them, but safe driving is a skill that many teens don’t have a chance to practice before they’re out on the road. Dodge automakers understand, and want to make sure teenagers are as safe as possible when they’re driving, which is why they are partnering with Mopar for the third year in a row to present “Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge,” a teen safe driving program that will be touring around the country this fall.

The “Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge” program has already educated almost 2,700 teens, and is hoping to reach many more this fall. 15-19 year olds with a learner’s permit or driver’s license and a little bit of experience behind the wheel can participate in the program, which brings in skilled instructors to work with the students in a 3:1 ratio on classroom education as well as behind-the-wheel training. Participants won’t just learn about safe driving techniques, they’ll have a chance to practice them on a track and hone their skills in a safe and controlled environment. Parents are invited to participate in complementary classes as well, to refresh their own skills and gain the tools to keep educating their kids on the best and safest driving practices.

Here at your  Monroe, MI Dodge dealership, we’re thrilled to hear that “Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge” is coming back to Michigan this year. Local drivers can register for the free class that will arrive in the Detroit area on October 8-9. And once your teen is educated, we think you’ll feel better about watching them drive away, or allowing them to take a spin in your new Dodge Charger or Dodge Challenger. Dundee, MI and Toledo, OH drivers can learn more about “Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge” right here at Monroe Superstore.
