You already know that here at your local Chrysler dealership serving Toledo, OH, we’re pretty excited about the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. But as it turns out, we’re not the only ones getting pumped for the new minivan! Earlier this month, the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) announced the result s of their annual Texas Auto Roundup, and the Chrysler Pacifica made some waves. After the 58 journalists who participated in the roundup spent two days driving a total of 53 vehicles, they were ready to announce some winners – and the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica was named Minivan of Texas, Best New Interior, and topped all the other entries to be declared this year’s Family Car of Texas. TAWA President Nic Phillips cited the design of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica as a factor in the win, as well as its functionality and practicality, and praised the minivan’s capacity for an entertaining drive.
But it wasn’t just this new Chrysler model that made an impact on the TAWA journalists. They were also impressed with the 2016 Dodge Charger, which won Performance Sedan of Texas for its SRT Hellcat edition, and the Full-size Sedan of Texas for the R/T Scat Pack. Between the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, the 2016 Dodge Charger, and the 2016 Dodge Viper GTC, which beat out competitors to be declared Super Car of Texas, FCA US LLC won more awards than any other manufacturer represented at the Auto Roundup. Here at Monroe Superstore, we know we may be a long way from Texas, but we also know that the TAWA journalists are on to something when they praise the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and the 2016 Dodge Charger. Dundee, MI, and Toledo, OH drivers can see for themselves why these models dominated at the Texas Auto Roundup right here in Monroe, MI.
