The Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) sure knows how to throw a party. NWAPA recently celebrated their annual “Mudfest,” an event that gave 25 of their journalists a chance to test almost 30 vehicles not only on a traditional paved surface, but also across a variety of off-road routes. Two days of testing gave the journalists a chance to really see what each vehicle had to offer, and when they announced the winners across their six categories, it became clear that Jeep® and RAM models are the way to go for an off-road adventure.

Every Jeep or RAM model entered into this year’s Mudfest won its category, giving FCA US LLC a total of three category wins as well as an overall win. This clean sweep included the 2016 RAM Rebel taking top honors in the Pickups category, the 2016 Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary Edition being named the winner of the Extreme Capability class, and the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition being voted the winner in the Family Utility segment. Not only that, but it was the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition that the NWAPA journalists named the Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year. With such sweeping dominance in the competition, it’s no wonder the president of NWAPA, Nik Miles, summed it up by explaining simply that “Jeep and RAM build vehicles that know how to win.”
